As we was be able to see Arco the first time, he was not older then 3 weeks of age! We could chose, but this was very hard!! Soon we found a brown spotted male with a brown head and was falling in love with him. As he was 7 weeks of age, we could take him home ... early, but he had to learn to live together with Bengal cats!! Still today, he make big difference between our Bengals and street cats...!! Arco is a very quite and balanced male, he is bred out of a very efficient mating (see pedigree). He is easy to educate and to handle and to give him basic obedience. Arco is a very obedient dog, who also goes without cord in bigger groups of people without even thinking about breaking out. He is very lovely to strangers and is all time very balanced. Arco live with us and our family inside of the house, he is not a dog who live in a dog kennel. He have the possibility to go out to run ouside of our yard, whenever he like. We live at the outskirts of the city and only have 100m to walk to the open fields and the forests.... that way Arco is every day outside where he trains his condition and can rage and have much fun.
After his good result at the Show in Springe, organized by DK Klub Hubertus Hannover,we our opinion was confirmed that he can give on a lot of good genes to his children. Hopfully he will do so later.But until there it is still a long way. We are looking forward to going this way, because we love Arco more than anything else in the world!

He had in Jule a female who loves him very much and both was together all time. Then we gave our Jule to a trainer who was us suggested (please check "memory of Jule"), and our Arco was alone! But a short time later, Arco too had to go to his trainer. "Arco II vom Otterbach" was trained from his breeder, Michael Hammerer, for the SOLMS and he is later be able to use him for breeding. This was in July 2002. Arco had learn a lot there, we are very proud of him!!! He had learned to search fast and scheduled, to find soon and save, and to bring save, fast and very well. He have a enorm finderwill and is very wild caustic. He have a very good nose and he find the wild very save and reliable!! Arco's field work is very well, he search very far and systematic, even in the forest he do same good. His obedience is best, he go after a call same as with view sign. The "thriller - down" is perfect! In Water he search alone, independent and as planned. He brings the duck best and on the shortest way to his leader! Arco is swimming very quite and safe. He have a enorme condition, he is be able to run beside of a car more then 30 km at 30 km/h. He have wonderful muscles now!

On September 21th 2002 Michael leaded our Arco on the SOLMS in D - 70771 Echterdingen. Arco was in very good condition and at all his task and area of responsibility very safe. Also Michael, he told us later, was not unsure or nervos. We was going to pick up Arco same day and heared from the follow same day. Arco work very well, on the beginning he need still a request with a little stone to go into the water, but then he make a nearly perfect water work, swam safe and with a very good finder will. On the drag he got at rabbit a 3 and at duck and lark or pheasant each the best note 4!! His very best nose was judge with best note 4 too, also the prominent for wild he got the note 4. But then was comming the unbelievable and incomprehensible!!!!
A dog, who can use his nose very best, that he got best note 4 and who can so very good prominent for wild that he got for that the best note 4 too, ......the same dog get on the same day for his search a "O"!!!! We was stunned ....our dog was fallen through this exam!!! I ask me still today, how this can work, and no judge with which I talked about till today could believe this or understand!! I am glad about, because I ask me how can a Judge judge a dog who not search (an a "O" is less then nothings)for his nose or prominent for wild ... and then still with best notes, ....that is impossible!! To see this characteristic and quality ...the dog have to search!! If he not search, he would have to get in both other things a "O" too. It was unbelievable! Michael decided to go in objection, as far as he is judge by himself, he know best when it make sense to do and when not. But in the commision for objection, was exactly the same peopel who give the "nothings for search" to Arco. So in fact, what to tell still about??? At the last end, we are so glad that Arco was learned so much and so good and this was first important, and we will thank a lot for that his breeder Michael!!

We will lead our Arco for the AZP, he is so safe at all that it must happen that he go well during this exam. We hope, that we for the first time we go by ourself, not will come on judges like that ...we can not decide exactly what is correct and what maybe not judge, we have to learn too. And maybe...our Arco have then even not a wrong day....!

As Arco was home again, he was lonly...he missed Billie and Jule..who is not comming back to us! So Arco was very thankful as we pick up in January 2003 our little "Anna vom Wolfswinkel". He was very soon good friend with her and today this both are always together and love each other best! Both GSP are very quite and balanced dogs, who are easy to handle and it is fun for us to have them both here.

We like to give a big thanks to Michael and Christine Hammerer, that they gave and entrust us our Arco. We love him so much!!! A special thanks to Michael Hammerer, that he train our Arco best!!
