It was Christmas 2002 as we all already was known to get soon a new young GSP female and the anticipation was very big!!! After the tragic destiny what happened with our darling "Jule" ...it was the best for all of us, to get as fast as possible a new German Shorthair pointer female into our household. We was very careful at the selection of this female, we attached much importance to the parents of our new darling! We are so very impressed about the behaviour of our male "Arco" that we take our best to get same in a female too. The litter of our Anna we could see first time as the puppys was 3 weeks of age, we could choose...but the pick of the litter was very hard!!! But soon we was falling in love with a nice female with a brown haed .....they had called "Anna".
We could pick up her as she was nearly 7 weeks of age ....then she had to learn that with us live Bengal cats too! This is very easy if a puppy is still so very young!
Anna come from very efficient parents, the complette basic obedience she had already with 14 weeks. Already with 8 weeks she had a enormous stamina and speed at running on the field (she run very long distances without to stop), the nose only on the ground or in wind and with 10 weeks of age she was bring us her first rabbit!! Anna has a very lovely and sweet and balanced behaviour, she is a very good type too! In Arco she found soon a friend and protector, they was lovely to each other from the first day they was together. Arco was start to love very fast this little bundle of energy. Anna live same as Arco inside of the house....they can go outside in our yard whenever they like, but they are not cage dogs.
We will take us time with her training for the hunter dog exam and we will go not earlier then in spring 2004 for the Derby and in fall 2004 for the Solms. We will train her by ourself, after the shock with our Jule we will never again let one of our dogs train outside! We will care of her best!

It is now summer 2003 and Anna is now already 8 month of age! She searches independently in the field and in the woods after only one invitation, she use her nose very well and her finds speedy and without problems. Her styl of searching is fluent, no chopped off or irritated. She is searching very far and exact, she is looking systematic over the complettly field! To in the forest she never have problems with this! In her obedience she is best, she stay alone in "down" is very good for skiing go best on point of view sign, same as on ringing tone or call! In water she is more then best, she is grandious!! She go quite and careful into the water, search there consistent and without compromise until she find and she bring safely the duck she found, without a request out of the water to us! Rummage without duck, is for her not a problem....she stay with staying power and you can't hear her in the water, she swim soundless.
At all we are very contented with our Anna, she has still a bit to learn how to bring the Wild best...but this will go over soon.
